REBECCA HART FLORATINA With Hart's experience, Floratina has produced some of the most consistent scores in Grade III competition this year and nearly marked an 80% in the Para Grand PRix Freestyle at the World Equestrian Cender CPEDI3* in Ocala in March, where the pair received a 79.745%.
Rebecca Hart got involved with the Paralympic movement in 1998 at a regional competition in Atlanta, Ga. It was at that competition that Hart decided she wanted to aim for international competition. Hart purchased her first horse and began to train for national and international competition. Over the years, Hart has represented the U.S. at several international events, including five consecutive Paralympic Games. Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games led to her best team finish yet, as a member of the bronze medal-winning U.S. team aboard El Corona Texel.
Floratina enjoyed a successful career in FEI dressage, including an appearance at the 2019 Pan American Games in Lima, Peru, with Canadian Lindsay Kellock, as well as with Canadian Chloe Gasiorowski, before switching hands to veteran U.S. Paralympian Rebecca Hart. The pair debuted for the first time in Austria at the Stadl Paura CPEDI3* where they earned strong marks in Grade III competition. Since then, the pair have earned more than 25 wins together in both the U.S. and in Europe.
